What changes the real project cost?
Budget beyond generated words
The published model includes a project fee as well as source ingestion and writing. A large research library can change the cost even when two projects have the same target book length.
Custom voice is another variable
Voice training and its generation surcharge affect the estimate. Bring-your-own-key options change the credit economics but introduce provider costs. Check the full route you intend to use.

Why is the Youbooks project fee important?
The published 9,000-credit project fee is separate from usage such as writing and source ingestion. Include it when estimating a book instead of dividing the plan’s credits by a target word count.
Does BYOK make Youbooks free?
