These Terms govern your use of ImagineYourBook.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1) Service Description

ImagineYourBook.com provides AI-assisted tools to generate draft books and export files (for example PDF or Word). Output quality and factual accuracy are not guaranteed.

2) Eligibility and Account Security

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the service. By creating an account you confirm that you are 18 or older. Books can contain mature themes and on-page romantic intimacy between adult characters when you choose those settings (see section 5).
• You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure.
• If you use Google sign-in, Google's authentication terms and privacy practices also apply to that sign-in interaction. Google sign-in does not give us access to Gmail, Drive, Calendar, or other Google services.
• If checkout is offered before signup, we may create a temporary account session to preserve your book idea. You must claim it through the checkout email or sign in to the matching existing account to retain access across devices.
• You are responsible for all activity performed under your account.

3) Payments, Credits, and Subscriptions

• Plans provide monthly credits for generation. Credit usage and plan limits are described on the Pricing page.
• Purchased credits are paid for once, never expire, and can be used without an active subscription. Monthly credits are used before purchased credits. Credits returned for a failed or stopped book return to their original balance; a monthly-credit refund after a reset reaches the current period. Subscription and bonus credits are granted for one credit period at a time: your monthly billing period or, on an annual plan, each month of the plan, and expire when it ends unless they roll over.
• Credit rollover is a voluntary, limited-time benefit, not a guaranteed part of any plan. While we offer it, unused subscription and bonus credits of an active, non-cancelled paid plan roll over once into the next credit period, up to that plan's monthly allowance, and expire when that period ends. Trial credits and cancelled or expired plans do not roll over. We may change or end rollover at any time; credits that have already rolled over keep their expiry date.
• The introductory Author trial is $0 for 7 days and includes the stated first-book allowance. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, it renews at $24.99 per month, or $249.99 per year if you select annual billing. The secure checkout shows the controlling price, renewal date, taxes, and cancellation terms before you confirm.
• Trials are limited to one per customer/account. If a checkout email belongs to an account that has already used a trial, a duplicate trial may be cancelled and no additional free generation credit will be granted; the saved idea can still be restored after secure sign-in.
• Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable. Unused or expired credits, including bonus credits, have no cash value and are not refunded.

4) Content Ownership and Commercial Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and applicable law, you may use generated book outputs for personal and commercial purposes. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, fact-checking, and ensuring legal compliance before publication or distribution.

ImagineYourBook claims no ownership in your generated book outputs. This does not remove third-party rights or guarantee that AI-generated material qualifies for copyright protection. Our downloadable Content Rights Certificate records this platform permission and saved book details; it is not copyright registration, proof of originality, or a guarantee of acceptance by a publisher.

5) Prohibited Use and Content Standards

• No illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, or rights-infringing use.
• No generation of content that violates applicable intellectual property, privacy, or consumer protection laws.
• No sexual content involving anyone under 18 or characters presented as minors, no non-consensual sexual content presented as erotic, and no sexual content about real, identifiable people.
• Romance settings go up to open-door romance: consensual intimacy between clearly adult fictional characters may stay on the page, written with emotional focus rather than graphic anatomical detail, and as part of the characters' story. Fully explicit content is not currently offered.
• ImagineYourBook.com is a general book-writing tool. It is not designed to produce pornography or erotica whose main purpose is sexual arousal, and you may not use it for that. We may decline, tone down, or stop a generation that goes beyond these standards.
• Your books are private to your account unless you choose to share them. If you share, publish, or sell a book, you are responsible for complying with the laws and platform rules that apply to it, including age ratings, and for keeping mature content away from minors.
• We may change the available content settings at any time, for example to comply with the law or with the rules of our payment and technology providers.
• No abuse of the platform, security probing, or automated misuse that harms service reliability.

6) Disclaimers and Liability Limitations

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. ImagineYourBook.com does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or legal suitability of generated content.

You understand and agree that ImagineYourBook.com is not responsible for any losses, claims, legal disputes, publishing outcomes, regulatory actions, reputational harms, or damages arising from generated or published content. You are solely responsible for all generated content and downstream use.

7) Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify ImagineYourBook.com and its operators from claims, damages, and costs arising from your content, your publication/distribution of outputs, or your breach of these Terms.

8) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, abuse, or legal/compliance reasons.

9) Affiliate Program

Applications to the ImagineYourBook affiliate program, referral attribution, commission eligibility, and payouts are administered through Lemon Squeezy and are subject to the terms and account-specific settings presented during application and in the Lemon Squeezy Affiliate Hub.

• Only valid, qualifying payments attributed under the program rules earn commission. Refunded, reversed, fraudulent, self-referred, or otherwise ineligible transactions may be rejected, withheld, or reversed.
• Affiliates must clearly and conspicuously disclose their commercial relationship with ImagineYourBook wherever required by law or platform rules. Affiliates may not use deceptive claims, spam, impersonation, unlawful content, trademark bidding or domain names that create confusion, or any promotion that violates applicable law or third-party rights.
• Published commission rates and attribution windows describe the current standard offer, not a guarantee of future terms or earnings. We may review applications, enforce program rules, and change or discontinue the program prospectively. The Affiliate Hub is the source of truth for each affiliate's current settings.

10) Cookies and Tracking

Book gift referrals

Customers with a recorded payment and current paid access may share a book gift link, subject to the availability shown in their account. Gifts are for new, verified accounts that have not started a book or made a payment. Claim before starting your first free trial book and finish it within 30 days to receive three bonus credits each for you and the sender. The free book is the standard Small Book trial. Bonus credits have no cash value, apply to the current credit cycle of each account, expire at its reset, and follow the normal account access rules. One gift per person; self-referrals, duplicate accounts, and abuse are not eligible. Limits may change for future claims; already accepted gifts retain their 30-day qualification window. Earlier manual referral promises remain honored through support.

First-party product analytics automatically records interactions and technical feedback to help us improve usability, reliability, and customer experience, including through authorized AI-assisted analysis. This observer operates independently of the optional-cookie choice, including when optional cookies are declined. Detailed observer events are scheduled for deletion after 14 days by hourly cleanup. The observer does not record typed text, passwords, payment details, or manuscript contents. See our Privacy Policy for data use, retention, and your rights.

Meta Pixel, the OpenAI Ads browser pixel, and advertising measurement require marketing consent. Google Analytics requires optional-cookie consent. A confirmed trial may also be reported through OpenAI's cookieless server-side Conversions API with limited event and landing-page attribution data; hashed customer identifiers and cookie-derived browser references are omitted when optional consent was not given. Lemon Squeezy's affiliate script provides cookieless referral attribution when a visitor follows an affiliate link. Details are in the Privacy Policy and cookie notice.

11) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes become effective when posted with an updated date.
