What changes the real project cost?
Access is not a manuscript quota
A ChatGPT subscription covers a general assistant. Your book competes with other tasks for plan-dependent limits. There is no honest fixed conversion from a monthly subscription into a number of finished novels.
Include the assembly work
Plan the outline, chapter continuity, revision and final file workflow. ChatGPT can help with these, but you must specify how they fit together. Count that work when comparing a dedicated book product.
