You revise as you discover the story
A writer who experiments with many prompts may need a different tier from someone following a settled outline. ImagineYourBook starts with a complete draft from your brief, then gives you line editing and broader rewrite controls. Try both rhythms before buying a large prompt allowance.
We make ImagineYourBook. This is a sourced buying guide, not an independent review or a hands-on test of every tool. Our method.

What changes the real project cost?
A prompt is not a chapter
The number of writing and revision requests matters. Count the kind of assistance you expect to use rather than interpreting a prompt allowance as a finished-book quota.
Check what is already free
Bookwiz advertises exports and paperback-cover preparation on its free offering. A paid plan comparison should focus on the allowances and workflow you need, not features you can already try.
Budget for your ImagineYourBook manuscript.
Start with your target length. Lyra uses one credit per 5,000 requested words, rounded up; Lyra Max uses three times the credits.

Requested length is a target. Rewrites and other paid actions have their own costs. Competitor credits use different rules.

Your questions, answered
Is Bookwiz free?
Bookwiz lists a free plan with limits on books and AI prompts. Review those limits and included exports on its own page. ImagineYourBook’s first free book offers another way to assess a complete manuscript workflow.
What is the difference between Bookwiz Explorer and Storyteller?
The published tiers provide different prompt allowances, including more Pro prompts on Storyteller. Choose around how often you need that assistance, not simply how many book ideas you have.
Does paying annually change the writing workflow?
Annual billing changes the upfront commitment and effective monthly cost. It does not itself tell you whether the workflow suits your voice or editing habits. Try a representative project first.
